Royal TSX 6.4.4.1000
Royal TSX 6.4.4.1000 for Mac
Royal TSX
Royal TSX 6.4.4.1000 for MacA tabbed remote-management app that keeps RDP, SSH, VNC, file-transfer, and web sessions in one encrypted document instead of a pile of separate clients.
From a connection folder to a live tab
Create a document, add a folder, then drop in the systems you actually touch: Remote Desktop (FreeRDP), SSH or Telnet (iTerm2-based terminal), VNC or Apple Screen Sharing, a WebKit browser tab, FTP/SFTP/SCP, TeamViewer, or a VMware console. Credentials live as their own objects and can be inherited down a folder, pulled from another document, or resolved from 1Password, LastPass, or KeePass. A team can share the connection list without shipping passwords if credentials are assigned by name from a private file. Double-click opens a tab; a Secure Gateway (SSH tunnel, optionally via Royal Server) can sit in front of RDP, VNC, SSH, or Telnet. Command tasks and key-sequence tasks replay the same click-path across several sessions. Dynamic Folders import hosts from a script or RoyalJSON when the document loads.
The navigation panel can auto-hide. Tabs take custom colors and icons. A folder dashboard and overview show which sessions are up, and a port check can mark hosts that are not listening. Shareware mode is enough for a home lab: ten connections, ten credentials, one document, no AppleScript. Beyond that, an Individual User license is listed at about €49 and covers minor 6.x updates plus a year of maintenance; the next major line (v26 is already in beta) needs a new key unless maintenance is current. A 30-day unlimited trial is available if you need to test past the shareware caps. macOS 11 or later is required; the vendor ships a native Apple Silicon build.
What this Mac build does not replace
Stay with the built-in Screen Sharing or Microsoft’s RDP client if you only ever open one host. Terminal.app is simpler if SSH is the whole job and you do not need a credential store. Some Royal TS Windows features, Performance View and External Applications—are not on the Mac client. On 6.4.4.1000, the Custom Sort window’s OK and Cancel buttons respond again.
