DaVinci Resolve Studio is Blackmagic Design’s paid, all-in-one post-production application for Mac: Cut and Edit timelines, Fusion VFX, Color grading, Fairlight audio, and Deliver plus in version 21 a dedicated Photo page for still-image finishing with the same node-based grading toolset.
The free Resolve edition covers a wide edit-and-grade path, but Studio unlocks the DaVinci Neural Engine, advanced noise reduction, extra Resolve FX, stereoscopic tools, immersive audio, and AI features such as IntelliSearch and CineFocus. Blackmagic documents native support on Apple M-series Macs; published macOS requirements for version 21 call for macOS 15 Sequoia or later on Apple Silicon, with 8 GB RAM minimum or 16 GB when using Fusion heavily.
