Professional-grade NEXRAD visualization for Mac users who need native radial radar data, warning polygons, and storm-track attributes not a simplified consumer forecast tile.
Open RadarScope, choose the nearest WSR-88D or supported international site, and view reflectivity, velocity, and related Level III products in the radar’s original radial geometry. Loops update every few minutes as new tilts arrive, and the inspector tool reports gate values under the cursor. Storm tracks overlay hail size, TVS, and mesocyclone markers when the NWS generates them. Compared with Apple Weather or generic map apps, RadarScope keeps you inside meteorological products rather than icon-based daily forecasts.
How do I install and activate?
Run the downloaded image and drag the application to the Applications folder shortcut.
Once the copy is complete, you can launch the application from Launchpad.
