Mp3tag has been a standard tag tool on Windows for years; the Mac edition brings the same workflow to macOS with Apple Silicon support and a native interface. You load folders or selections, edit artist, album, title, genre, year, track numbers, and custom fields across many files at once, then save changes back into the files. Supported formats include MP3, MP4/M4V, MKV, FLAC, OGG, Opus, AIF, DSF, MPC, WV, and WAV, covering both audio-only and tagged video containers.
How do I install and activate?
Mount the image and launch Open Gatekeeper Friendly.
Press Enter to bypass Gatekeeper in the Terminal window.
Drag the application to the Applications folder.
The application is ready to use.
