Ghost Buster Pro 6.1.1 for Mac
Ghost Buster Pro 6.1.1 MacOS
A focused macOS utility that scans for leftover files from apps you already deleted caches, containers, and support folders that dragging an .app to the Trash does not remove.
Launch the app and the search starts on its own. There is no wizard and no preset to configure first. When the pass finishes, the window shows how much space you can reclaim, a chart of which removed apps left the most behind, and a size bar on every item. Sort by size if you want the large wins first, or by name if you are looking for a specific leftover. The footer keeps a running count of selected items and the space they occupy, so you can see the effect before anything is removed.
Nothing is deleted until you choose it. You can send cleaned items to the Trash so they can be restored, or erase them from disk immediately. Folders you still need can go on an ignore list and stay out of later scans. The developer states that Apple’s own files are never touched, and that the scan only considers data belonging to apps that are no longer installed. In practice you should still read the list: a renamed or relocated app can look “gone” to a leftover scanner even when you still use it.
