Cap Pro 0.5.9
Cap Pro 0.5.9 for Mac
An open-source screen recorder that captures a Mac display, window, area, or camera, then either hands you a share link the moment you stop or keeps a local Studio project until you export.
Instant capture versus a local Studio project
Open the desktop app, pick Instant or Studio, then choose a display, window, cropped area, or camera-only target. Add a webcam overlay and a microphone if the take needs a face or voice. By default the app asks you to confirm before starting when no microphone is selected or the chosen mic is missing; that prompt can be turned off under Settings, General. There are no factory global hotkeys: if you want to start from another app, assign shortcuts under Settings before you rely on them. After the countdown, pause, resume, restart, or stop from the overlay. A good Instant take ends with a browser-ready link once processing finishes. A good Studio take opens a .cap project you can trim, restyle, and export without uploading first.
How do I install and activate?
