Compresto 1.29 for Mac
Compresto 1.29 MacOS
A native macOS compressor that batch-shrinks videos, images, PDFs, and GIFs on the Mac without uploading files to a remote server.
The usual path is drag-and-drop. You drop files or whole folders onto the main window, or onto a floating Drop Zone that stays available while you work elsewhere. Named presets remember quality, resize rules, and output format, so a recurring export job is one drop rather than a new encoder setup each time. Folder monitoring can watch a directory and start after a settle delay, which matters when a download or an export is still writing. Clipboard auto-compress is available if you copy files rather than drag them. A Raycast extension exists for people who already launch tools that way. Deep links can also feed jobs from other apps.
Progress lives in the app and, on supported hardware, in a notch-style viewer, so you can check the result and rename the output without hunting through Finder. History keeps past jobs. Finder tags on source files can be copied onto outputs if you sort work by color tags. Per-file overrides let you change quality or format for one item in a batch without splitting the queue.
How do I install and activate?
Run the downloaded image and drag the app to the Applications folder shortcut.
Once the copy is complete, you can launch the app from Launchpad.
