Drawing on our extensive experience building a number of Mac utility apps and listening to our users’ suggestions over the years, we created Space Drop. We believe it’s the missing link when it comes to dragging and dropping elements on the Mac.

This app makes drag-and-dropping files much easier with a handy dock that instantly appears when you start dragging a file. It creates a temporary storage space for files while you navigate to where you want to drop them. This frees up your mouse and makes the process much more enjoyable.

KEY FEATURE:

• Add one or more files to Space Drop at a time. If you drag multiple files together, it will create a stack group of those files together.

• Lets you create a temporary storage space for files and folders that you need quick access to or need to associate with each other before dragging them to another app or location.

• Add files and folders to Space Drop by dragging them onto the drop-down window, menu bar icon, and/or dock icon.

• Choose to copy files to the destination or physically move them when dragging them from Space Drop.

• Supports multiple monitors and spaces.

• Supports almost all Cocoa file types and applications, including Photos and Outlook.

• Control which apps Space Drop detects when you drag them.

• Adjust color, transparency, window position and more.

• Works with full-screen applications.

• Supports QuickLook to preview files in Space Drop.

• Set the application to launch when you log in to your Mac.

• Toggle the Space Drop window using a hotkey if one is set.

• Right-click the files and select Delete to delete them, or click the trash can icon to delete all files.
