AppHouseKitchen from Austria launched AlDente as a practical alternative to leaving a MacBook at one hundred percent all day. The free tier covers the core charge limiter: set a maximum between twenty and one hundred percent, and macOS pauses battery charging while the machine still runs from the adapter. AlDente Pro expands that foundation with heat protection, sailing mode, top-up and discharge controls, calibration mode, MagSafe LED control on supported models, scheduled tasks, customizable menu bar icons, and richer dashboard graphs.
How do I install and activate?
Run the downloaded image and drag the application to the Applications folder shortcut.
Once the copy is complete, you can launch the application from Launchpad.
