Lies of P is set in Krat, a decaying city inspired by the Belle Époque era. You play as P, a puppet built by Geppetto. The story is a dark reimagining of Pinocchio. You fight through hostile streets full of rogue puppets and corrupted humans. The world is grim, detailed, and visually striking on any Apple Silicon Mac.

The combat is the heart of the game. It rewards patience and precision. You can dodge, but the game actively pushes you toward perfect guards. A well-timed block deflects an attack and chips away at the enemy’s weapon. Chain perfect guards together and you can stagger even large bosses. It is punishing at first. It becomes deeply satisfying once it clicks.

What makes Lies of P stand out is the weapon system. The game splits weapons into two parts: the blade and the handle. Each part carries a different move set. You can combine any blade with any handle. This gives you a huge range of builds. You also equip a Legion Arm, a mechanical prosthetic with a special ability like a flamethrower or a grappling hook. These tools open up how you approach every fight.
