With the Microphone Lock app, you can be sure that no one can use your computer’s microphone without your permission. Microphone Lock blocks all attempts by any application to use your computer’s microphone.

If you’ve unlocked your microphone for normal use and forgotten to lock it again, don’t worry: Microphone Lock will detect (unwanted) access and alert you. (This applies if an app is about to use the microphone.)

How to install and activate?

Mount the image and run Open Gatekeeper friendly.

Press Enter to bypass Gatekeeper in the Terminal window.

Drag the application to the Applications folder.

The application is ready for use.
