MarkMyWords was specifically designed and developed for authors who publish their articles on blogs and news sites. MarkMyWords supports a select set of markup languages and offers a variety of features to help writers focus on what really matters: content.

With MarkMyWords, you can edit text using a variety of markup languages. In addition to well-known HTML and Markdown, MarkMyWords also supports MultiMarkdown, MarkdownExtra, Textile, Wikitext, BBCode, and Smark.

An editor that works for you! You can set the font type and size, text color, selected text and background, text spacing, line numbers, and much more.
MarkMyWords offers extensive options for customizing the text field to your own preferences.

MarkMyWords’ preview offers an immediate preview of the current document and allows you to examine the formatting.
Alternatively, MarkMyWords also offers the option to preview the current document in a browser.
You can also specify the application to which the current document will be sent in MarkMyWords’ settings.

The Quicksave file navigator for the Quicksave folder set offers quick and easy access to the folders and documents you need quickly.
Built-in search and the ability to display only documents with a specific color tag make it easy to find the document you need.

No-Distraction Mode

Text Pack

Textbundle is an open format that allows you to combine text documents with other files into a single file. MarkMyWords supports both opening and saving Textbundle files. Additionally, existing documents can be exported as Textbundle or Textpack files.

Dark mode for everyone

Starting with macOS Mojave (10.14), MarkMyWords automatically adapts to your system settings. For earlier versions of macOS, MarkMyWords offers a manual dark mode that can be activated at any time.

Importing CSV tables

MarkMyWords’ import feature makes it easy to insert tables into documents. Simply select the appropriate CSV file, and MarkMyWords will insert the table, including the required markup code for the currently selected markup language.

MarkMyWords can import text from text files in most common word processing applications directly, without tedious intermediate steps, and can even filter out existing formatting.

Export

MarkMyWords can export formatted texts to RTF, Doc, ODT, HTML, or PDF formats with a single click of the “Export” button. This is especially useful when sharing text with others who don’t use markup languages.
