Shredo is a small utility that can help you complicate or even make recovery impossible. Depending on the security level and speed of data deletion, you have three deletion methods:

– 1 pass – provides reliable protection and fast data deletion.

– 7 passes – low speed, but better protection than 1 pass.

– 35 passes – very low speed, but the best defense.

Securely delete files and folders and be confident that the information will not be recovered by overwriting data up to 35 times using various algorithms. Marking files for deletion does not immediately delete the data from the disk: the information remains preserved until the operating system decides to overwrite it with new data.

How to install and activate?

Mount the image and run Open Gatekeeper friendly.

Press Enter to bypass Gatekeeper in the Terminal window.

Drag the application to the Applications folder.

The application is ready for use.
