Devious Machines Duck 2 v2.0.26
Devious Machines Duck 2 v2.0.26 U2B macOS
Duck 2 is the ultimate tool for sidechaining and creative volume shaping. The powerful multi-segment envelope lets you draw a precise volume curve onto your audio. Bass clashing with your kick? Simply carve out the exact shape you need – no more fiddly track automation and compressor setups. Lock it to the beat like an LFO, or trigger it from other elements in the mix. With Duck’s rapid workflow, powerful multiband mode, and hundreds of presets to get you started, you’ll never want to produce without it again.
New in Duck 2
With Duck 2, we’ve made this much loved tool even better. The GUI has been completely reworked and modernised, and is now freely resizable to adapt to your preferred way of working. There’s a powerful new Multiband section, now featuring 3 bands with a separate envelope each, plus professional-grade linear phase filtering. The envelope editor has been dramatically enhanced with a slicker interface, advanced curve shapes, randomise, and a ton of useful new workflow features.
Its uses include
Ducking bass to make way for drum hits
Making sounds “pump” to the beat– a popular effect for EDM music
Rhythmic gating patterns
Envelope shaping (e.g. of drum hits)
Using it like a synth’s ADSR, complete with MIDI triggering and velocity sensitivity.
Tremolo
Wild, volume-modulation effects
Dynamic tone shaping using multiband mode.
