A vertical Dock you can put on every display, with live window previews and snap zones that keep tiled windows off the bar.
One strip per screen, then hover and snap
After a seven-day trial you hide the system Dock and pin the apps you actually use. Hover an icon for window thumbnails; peek into pinned folders; click again to hide or unminimize. A built-in launcher, calendar, trash, and volume control sit in the same strip. Window Switcher is the overview: filters, saved searches, and optional single-key navigation. Drag a window to an edge and Sidebar’s snap engine keeps the result clear of the bar no extra resize. Workspaces store pin lists, stacks, and styles; Shortcuts or a sidebar:// URL can switch them with Focus modes.
Snap zones, brightness, and what the Dock still owns
The 2.2.5 layout manager lets you split and merge snap zones, set gaps, and choose which layouts appear while you drag. A brightness widget can sit in the same strip if you want it. Mission Control can still flash a sliver of the system Dock. Game Mode can make the bar feel sluggish. Overlay prevention, notification badges, and bringing windows forward need Accessibility; live previews also need Screen Recording.
Ventura floor and the twenty-euro lifetime
macOS 13 or later, on Apple Silicon and Intel. After the trial, lifetime is 19.99 EUR, or 1.25 EUR a month / 12.50 EUR a year same feature set and future updates either way. Setapp and Homebrew are other install paths. A license has to be registered to the Mac you run it on. If you want Apple’s Dock with almost no settings, stay there; this is for people who outgrew one Dock on one screen.
