A paid superset of the free Rectangle window manager that targets users who rearrange many apps per hour and want cursor-driven snapping, saved layouts, and deeper shortcut control without learning a dozen separate tools.
After granting Accessibility permission in System Settings, Rectangle Pro lives in the menu bar and responds to keyboard shortcuts, drag-to-edge snap areas, and cursor gestures. Its signature move is Window Throw: hold a modifier (control+command by default), move the cursor over any window even one that is not focused and release to snap that window into one of sixteen size/position sectors shown as a reticle on screen. The related Move & Resize mode lets you drag-resize the window under the cursor while modifiers are held, with several anchor behaviors configurable from an ellipsis menu.
How do I install and activate?
Run the downloaded image and drag the application to the Applications folder shortcut.
Once the copy is complete, you can launch the application from Launchpad.
