HistoryHound 2.3.7 for Mac Free Download
HistoryHound lets you quickly search keywords across the entire content of all web pages and RSS feeds you’ve recently visited, as well as all those you’ve bookmarked. It’s a “personal web search.” Simply enter a few keywords, and HistoryHound will provide you with a list of pages you’ve recently viewed, ranked by relevance.
Have you ever tried to find something in your browser history or bookmarks, but couldn’t remember when or where you saw it, or what browser you were using at the time? Or maybe you have meticulously organized bookmarks, but it takes you forever to navigate through the menus to get to what you want? HistoryHound will search the page for you—quickly!
HistoryHound Search Window
HistoryHound, based on macOS’s Spotlight search technology for fast searching, periodically scans your browser’s cache, history, and bookmarks to keep its search index up-to-date. It also includes a built-in browser based on WebKit, the same engine used in Safari, so search results are displayed quickly and accurately. A range of features makes HistoryHound convenient and fast to use, and a fully functional 30-day trial is available with no limitations.
HistoryHound is suitable for your work, offering you several options:
Choose your browser—or not. HistoryHound supports all major macOS web browsers, and if you use more than one, HistoryHound will search for pages you’ve visited in any of them. So whether you use Safari, Firefox, Chrome, Edge, Brave, OmniWeb, Vivaldi, Opera, NetNewsWire, or Orion, HistoryHound will track pages no matter where you saw them!
Choose a full search window or an unobtrusive search palette. HistoryHound Search Palette: If you don’t need fancy previews or sorting by name and relevance, use HistoryHound’s search palette instead. You can use it as a regular window, set it to float on top of everything else, or hide it when HistoryHound is in the background.
Assign a hotkey to quickly launch HistoryHound into action. It’s almost as easy as shouting, “Come on, boy!” A quick press of command-option-spacebar (or any other key combination of your choice) brings HistoryHound to the foreground and selects the search field. Simply type, and it finds what you’re looking for.
Search types:
Choose your preferred search method. Search by any or all search terms, use Boolean search, or utilize inclusion/exclusion notation to quickly find what you need.
Follow your trail as long as you want. You can tell HistoryHound to keep as many days of your web browsing history as you like. Even if your browser has long forgotten where you’ve been, HistoryHound will remember.
