New callouts now automatically move frames and groups of objects along with text, while the ImageGrid feature allows layout designers to quickly import or build layout grids for graphics. A similar feature, Linkster, is designed for establishing or breaking links between text frames and entire notes. The Story Editor module allows for editing future text in a full-fledged word processor.
The new version of the Quark publishing system will also make professionals more productive by automating a number of time-consuming manual tasks. The product boasts expanded style support, more sophisticated tools for working with lists, creating callouts, and more. QuarkXPress will also simplify text editing, cloning individual elements, creating grids for placing images, and duplicating objects or entire pages.
